Music icon Stevie Nicks was given a snuggling surprise that ended with a sweet kiss after dedicating her stellar performance of “Landslide” to longtime friend and fellow musician – Kid Rock.

Performing at the Palace of Auburn Hills in 2014, the legendary Fleetwood Mac was putting on an incredible show for their fans that were carried away by timeless tunes and nostalgic vibes of the band’s heyday.

Nicks, sporting her usual black retro-tinged attire, took to the stage to serenade folks with the magical ballad “Landslide.” Dedicating the performance to Rock, Nicks dove into her song that clearly moved more than just her fans.

Mid-song, Rock waltzed onto the stage behind the singer and held her in a tight embrace. While resembling a heartfelt slow dance, Rock planted a sweet kiss on Nicks’ cheek before making his exit off the stage. The audience erupted into a string of cheers and applause for the unexpected appearance.

The Fleetwood Mac singer later spoke to The Oakland Press about the “unforgettable moment”, admitting, “We relate on many levels. Behind (Rock’s) crazy flamboyance lies the most amazing person. We have always joked that if I had had a child it would have been him. From that comes the dedication on stage during the Detroit show.”

Rock had a joke for the singer during his loving stage surprise, telling Nicks during their embrace that her security “wasn’t very good”.
