“Carol of the Bells” is no doubt one of the most challenging Christmas carols to perform, but this country songstress sings it with complete ease. LeAnn Rimes lit up the stage of the 2014 “CMA Christmas Party” with her glorious delivery of the timeless Christmas classic.

The performance was nothing shy of epic, complete with four back-up vocalists beautifully harmonizing along with Rimes’ fast performance. The country singer didn’t miss a single beat of the extremely high-paced song before erupting into an powerful final note met by a standing ovation.

“Carol of the Bells” was composed over a century ago by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych alongside lyricist Peter J. Wilhousky. Typically performed in a choir setting, the Christmas classic has transcended the decades reaching a status of timelessness.
