Lee Ann Womack Sings Heavenly Rendition Of ‘Silent Night’

“Silent Night” has to be one of our all time favorite Christmas songs. And since Lee Ann Womack is one of our all time favorite singers, we had to share her incredible rendition of “Silent Night” with you.

Womack recorded the song in 2002 for her album The Season for Romance and the music video is just as divine as the recording.

The album cracked the Top 20 on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts and was praised by many different outlets, including Billboard, Maclean’s and The Gazette. One publication even compared her work to Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet and Ella Fitzgerald.

Set on a snowy mountain top, the video shows Womack sitting between her guitarist and saxophonist singing the powerful Christmas carol. One of our favorite parts of the song has to be right after she finishes singing a long, powerful note and her voice echoes in the mountains.

Watch the music video below to get yourself into the holiday spirit.
