Line Dancing Ladies Show Off Routine To Walker Hayes’ “You Broke Up With Me”

There are some songs out there that are begging for people to dance to them. We’re sure there’s at least one song out there that you always feel the need to boogie to!

One such song that is sure to turn you into a dancing machine is Walker Hayes’ “You Broke Up With Me.” Despite the seemingly mournful headline, the song is surprisingly peppy and upbeat, making it the perfect backing track to a miniature dance party.

Released in 2017, “You Broke Up With Me” is the most successful single of Hayes’ career so far. The song climbed as high as the ninth spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and has also reached the tenth spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

We’re sure the song became an even bigger hit once people realized it was a good tune to dance to. It’s something one popular line dance team figured out pretty fast!

Based out of Seattle, the intermediate line dancing team the Boot Girls is the sister team to the famous Boot Boogie Babes. Directed by DeAnna Lee, both the Boot Girls and the Boot Boogie Babes have earned a devoted following thanks to their fun line dances to hot country hits.

After listening to “You Broke Up With Me,” Lee decided to put together a routine to the song for the Boot Girls to dance to. The girls took to the edge of the water to dance out the routine as the sun set behind them.

Although the Boot Girls are an intermediate team, we’re sure that even line dance newbies could learn the steps to this routine with a little bit of practice. There are plenty of  kicks, scuffs, and turns, but the girls also add a bit of modern flair with some hip-shakin’ and hops.
