There’s hardly anything better than a Hank Williams Jr. performance. His appearance at the 20th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards proves this to be true.

After being introduced by co-host Glen Campbell, Bocephus wasted no time diving right into his most recent single, “I’m For Love”.

Hank Jr. released “I’m For Love” in May 1985 as the first single from his album Five-0 and hit No. 1 on the country charts a couple months later.

Bocephus stood on the stage at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California and sang about all the conflict he saw in the world whether it be political, or in his everyday life, but what he really cared about was his sweetheart and everyone being happy.

The audience clapped along as he sang the chorus’ lyrics, “But I’m for love and I’m for happiness/And I’m for ‘If you don’t like it can’t you just let it rest’/And I’m for turning off the music; turning down the lights/‘Cause I’m for nothing else but you and me tonight.

Watch him perform “I’m For Love” below.
