Loretta Lynn Celebrates A ‘Country Christmas’ In Festive Clip For Highly-Anticipated Album

Loretta Lynn had a surprising announcement to share with her fans on September 16. For the first time in 50 years, she’s releasing a Christmas album!
Lynn’s last holiday-themed album was 1996’s Country Christmas, so fans have been anticipating this new album for some time. Titled White Christmas Blue, the album was released on Friday (October 7).
To go along with the release of the album, Lynn shared a short clip about it on her Facebook page. The clip shows Lynn celebrating a “country christmas” with John Carter Cash, who co-produced the new album along with Lynn’s daughter, Patsy Lynn Russell.
Lynn can also be seen in the recording studio working on the album, which includes a good mix of holiday classics and new material. With everything from “Away in a Manger,” to Lynn’s original songs like “To Heck With Ole Santa Claus,” every track on the album captures the essence of the holiday season.
The clip also shows Lynn getting her pictures taken for the album, and she looks just as beautiful as ever in a stunning red gown.
