Love And Theft Joins Local Country Band For Impromptu Concert In Drive Thru

It was a normal day in Nashville for country duo Love and Theft. They were just walking down the street with their guitars, as they always do, when a large van pulled over next to them.

Inside was Little Feather, a Nashville-based country band led by the talented Liz Sharpe, who happens to be a second cousin of Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gayle, and Patty Loveless.

We’re gonna go get smoothies, y’all wanna come?” she yelled out of the window.

Without hesitation, Love and Theft band members Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles hopped in the van and headed to the local smoothie drive thru, where they performed an impromptu concert.

After placing their not-at-all complicated order, the now eight-person band begins playing the heavenly intro to Love and Theft’s newest song, “Love Wins”. The Smoothie King employee had no clue what he was in store for when he opened their window.

He was pleasantly surprised by the intimate concert, and stood by the cash register enjoying every note being played and sung. Gunderson and Liles wrote “Love Wins” with Tyler Cain and Jason Blaine as a reminder to be “better dads, better husbands, and…better humans.

We are better humans now for watching this drive thru concert! Watch it below!
