Luke Bryan Comes Clean About Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunction At Recent Concert

The unpredictable nature of live performances is what makes them exciting for both fans and performers. No matter how many times a singer rehearses, a spur-of-the-moment happening can suddenly throw their performance in a new direction, for good or for bad. 

In regards to the latter, if something goes off the rails during a concert it makes it hard for the artist to hide. The more eyes on you, the harder it is to cover up a mistake, especially if that mistake is part of your wardrobe!

This is something that Luke Bryan learned the hard way at one of his recent shows. He talked about the embarrassing experience during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Friday night (December 8).

According to Bryan, he was in the middle of performing when he noticed a fan signaling to him. Eventually, Bryan caught on that the fan was telling him that he needed to zip up his pants. He had left his fly unzipped!

Of course, Bryan didn’t notice his unzipped fly until after he had made his way to the front of the stage and started showing off a few of his signature dance moves. As he was in the middle of shaking his hips, he caught on to the fan’s message and quickly zipped up his fly.

It’s clear that Bryan got a kick out of the whole thing, and he rewarded the helpful fan by handing them a can of beer from his cooler.

Bryan told Fallon that the wardrobe malfunction was a first for him, and that such a thing had never happened during a show before.

“All my years, never,” he said. “I’ve fallen off stages, forgotten words, said the wrong city. First time, fly down.” Well, at least he has a good sense of humor about it!
