Luke Bryan Takes Break From Vacation To Help Rescue Law Enforcement Officer

CMT

It’s no wonder why Luke Bryan owns a vacation home in Florida. Stunning beaches, beautiful weather, and gorgeous sunsets make it the perfect place to enjoy some downtime.

That’s exactly what Bryan and his family decided to do this month. Bryan had taken off to the beach to soak up some sun and unwind after months of touring and making various appearances.

But while Bryan was relaxing on the beach, something happened that prompted him to put his vacation on hold for a moment.

One of the local law enforcement officers had been driving their truck on the beach when it suddenly became stuck in some wet sand. Bryan happened to be close by, and was quick to jump to the officer’s rescue.

Jake Jones of Atlanta was also on the beach that day, and helped Bryan and others in the effort to get the officer’s truck out of the sand. Jones shared a photo collage of the ordeal, which shows Bryan grabbing a long board to wedge under the truck’s front tire. Another photo shows Bryan helping other bystanders place the board under the tire.

It’s not everyday you pull out a Sheriff truck on the beach with @LukeBryanOnline. #onceinalifetime #goodtimes,” Jones wrote.

Bryan is making a mark in the Florida beach community in more ways than one. He recently opened a cigar shop with his friend called Shore Thing Cigars near his vacation home in South Walton. Although the business has not been open for long, visitors are already impressed with the products and friendly employees.

Hopefully Bryan had a good time on vacation, because his schedule picks up the pace once again with another series of tour dates. His current tour is called Kill the Lights, and is already one of the biggest tours of the year. Check out the song that inspired the tour’s name in the video below.
