After asking if any rednecks were in the audience tonight, country singer Luke Combs delivered a rowdy rendition of Garth Brooks‘ “Friends in Low Places.”

“Do we have any rednecks here in this building?” Combs asked the audience. “Listen I know this is a real nice venue, it’s a real nice theatre, and I don’t know if they’re used to gettin’ rowdy, but it’s a Friday night, we ain’t gotta go to work in the morning so why don’t we just get a little f****d up tonight?!”

The iconic first chords of “Friends in Low Places” began playing just as Combs kicked off his performance with a beer in hand. While cheersing the audience throughout his explosive performance, the North Carolina-native flawlessly executed the delivery of Brooks’ signature song while still managing to perform one of the wildest rendtions yet.

The 26-year-old country singer landed a coveted spot as opener for Brantley Gilbert on his 2017 The Devil Don’t Sleep Tour following the success of his powerful debut single, “Hurricane.”
