Fresh face Maren Morris seemed to have snuck up straight out of left field when her insanely popular hit “My Church” made its way onto radio stations and playlists nationwide! Morris, who had released a variety of songs back in 2005 with not too much buzz, had instantly climbed to the top of the charts, making her name one to reckon with! Shortly after the recognition of “My Church”, Morris’ tune “80s Mercedes” kept her name alive and well!
With her mass following increasing by the day, it was only appropriate to invite the incredibly talented gal to perform at the ACM Honors!
Singing Tanya Tucker’s timeless classic “Delta Dawn”, Morris brought down the venue with a exceptionally energetic and equally talented performance! Making the hit her own, Morris channeled a rock ‘n’ roll vibe, giving her performance an unforgettable edge!
While Tucker remains the original singer of this tune, we firmly believe Morris’ vibrant version has earned her the recognition she so rightfully deserves!
