Miranda Lambert Brings CMT Awards Crowd To Their Feet With Sassy ‘Pink Sunglasses’ Performance

Miranda Lambert has been dominating awards shows for as long as we can remember. Yes, she wins lots of awards, but it’s her performances that truly resonate with audiences.
In the days leading up to the 2017 CMT Awards, Lambert posted a photo of her and her team getting stuck in an elevator on the way to rehearsals. Don’t fret, though – she always has “airplane bottles of Tito’s” in her purse for these types of emergencies.
Lambert also used the hashtag “#pinksunglasses”, leading fans to believe that she was performing the song “Pink Sunglasses” from her latest album The Weight Of These Wings, which she did!

In her recent live performances, she donned pink RayBan style sunglasses, and she continued the tradition at the CMT Awards.
She caught up with CMT during rehearsals and expressed how excited she was to perform the song that has been a huge hit on the road for her.
“Everyone’s wearing pink sunglasses. I’m so excited they’ve handed out like 1,000 pairs of pink sunglasses,” she said, according to Taste of Country.
Everyone looked awesome rocking out to her song in their coordinating sunglasses! She got the crowd on their feet with her super sassy performance and we were loving every second of it!
