Miranda Lambert Delivers Cover Of Sam Smith’s ‘Stay With Me’ at 2014 Route 91 Festival

Country music singer Miranda Lambert used her coveted spotlight at the 2014 Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas to cover one of music’s most tearjerking hits.

Lambert, rocking a rather short do and striking shade of pink lipstick, gave one hell of an emotional performance to singer Sam Smith’s breakup anthem, “Stay With Me.”

The country cutie received no shortage of cheers and whistles from the eager and undeniably approving crowd who were head over boots with Lambert’s song choice! She brokenly sings the lyrics, “Why am I so emotional?’ a question that every gal has asked herself one time or another.

Lambert’s solemn expression throughout the performance in unison with her outstanding vocals gave audience members a bittersweet performance of incredible talent and raw, heartfelt emotion.
