Nicole Kidman Turns Bright Red Discussing What Keith Urban Whispered In Her Ear

Artists from around the globe gathered last month at Cannes Film Festival in the south of France to watch films of all genres make their debut, four of which star Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman. Known for fiercely supporting one another, Keith Urban made the trip across the globe to accompany his wife during the week long festival. 

A video documenting an emotional moment between the couple surfaced while making the rounds at the festival. Taking place on the red carpet, the pair stopped to pose for their signature kiss on the cheek photo, but Urban stopped to whisper something into his wife’s ear. Overcome by his words, Kidman wrapped her arms around the country singer, holding him tight as tears began to flow.

Naturally, the video of their sweet exchange quickly went viral, raking in over 200,000 views on Facebook alone. Discussion over what the country singer whispered into her ear quickly buzzed, prompting host of the Late Late Show, James Cordon, to question the actress on what her husband said to her that made her so emotional. 

“He whispered something in your ear…What did he say?” asked Cordon. 

“Oh just something,” Kidman responded coyly. “It’s a weird thing actually because when you’re in that massive [crowd], all of those photographers and the noise and everything, when you create intimacy like a little bubble, it’s really emotional. And just having him there was emotional for me.”

While the talk show host persisted much throughout the entire interview – even offering up Game of Thrones’ actor Kit Harington to reveal if he’s planning on proposing to his girlfriend in exchange for her secret – the actress inevitably made the decision to keep it private.
