Nicole Kidman Suffered Wardrobe Malfunction At The Oscars

While she was undoubtably one of the best dressed starlets on the Oscars’ red carpet, Australian actress Nicole Kidman suffered a major wardrobe malfunction no one even noticed.

Donning an elegant Armani floor-length gown, Kidman quickly broke out into a rash caused by the sequins lining the neckline of the dress rubbing against her skin. So how did she handle it? The 49-year-old actress got the gown altered midway through the award show.

At the beginning of the show, Kidman is seen wearing the open-backed gown connected by two pieces of sequined fabric criss-crossed over one another. Later on in the night, the actress is seen wearing the same dress but with one small difference.

The Oscar-winning actress had the gown cut and altered to restyle the neckline in order to stop the sequin rubbing against her skin and therefore eliminate the rash.

Kidman was nominated for “Best Supporting Actress” following her heartbreaking performance in Lion. she took on role of an adoptive mother to a boy separated from his parents at a young age. While she unfortunately lost the award to American actress Viola Davis, she and husband Keith Urban were all smiles leaving Dolby Theatre.
