Police Officers Celebrate Hometown & Heroes With Montgomery Gentry’s Help

Massillon Police Department/Facebook

On the Fourth of July 2016, members of the Massillon Police Department in Massillion, Ohio uploaded a video on YouTube to give back to the community that they so dearly cherish.

Just days before the horrible killing of five Dallas police officers and the injury of seven more by a lone sniper, this dedicated police force crafted a video showing the citizens of their town and fellow heroes how much they all mean to the entire department – and how proud they are to be police officers in Massillon, Ohio.

The video is a heart-warming slideshow that gives anyone watching a hearty feeling of just how wonderful this small town is. With photos of old, new, and in between, the video captures the very essence of their community in just four minutes and with the help of Montgomery Gentry – it really sinks in just how proud these folks are of their roots!

Set to the tune of Montgomery Gentry‘s chart-topping 2002 hit, “My Town”, this tribute comes full circle and is a true celebration of hometown pride!

The community is equally proud of their dedicated officers and the department just recently celebrated the addition of their newest two officers!
