Luke Bryan has proved time and time again that he is capable of performing songs that will pull on your heartstrings. From “Do I”, to “Drink A Beer”, to his latest single “Fast”, the country crooner and booty shaker slows it way down for this song about life moving too fast.

Right as Bryan was beginning to film the music video for his new single, it seems his eldest son, Bo, Face-Timed him to tell him something exciting – he asked his crush to be his girlfriend, and she said yes!

Almost 9 years old, Bo proudly told him, “I did it in front of her friends!” which surprised Luke who said, “You’re crazy“.

It was such a sweet moment that we couldn’t help but smile while watching the whole thing. You can tell that Bryan is extremely close with his children, even though he travels a lot.

“Bo got him a girlfriend! This has been a year in the making him asking that girl,” he told his crew. 

Afterwards, a montage of photos from Bryan’s childhood appeared as Bryan sang the following lyrics.

Sixty seconds now feels more like thirty
Tick-tock, won’t stop, around it goes
Sand through the glass sure falls in a hurry
