Randy Travis’ brother keeps his music alive in moving cover of his brother’s 1994 hit, “Before You Kill Us All.”

Ricky Traywick, older brother to the country superstar, stepped into the recording booth to record his powerful tribute to his younger brother. Traywick sounds almost identical to his brother in his impressive portrayal of Travis’ original, making for an incredible performance sure to bring a tear to the eye of every Travis fan.

Three years after suffering a devastating stroke back in 2013, Travis has been making miraculous steps towards recovering, making multiple public appearances including the 2016 CMA Awards where he sang the final note of his beloved “Forever and Ever, Amen.”

In addition to being Travis’ older brother, the two siblings are former singing partners known as The Traywick Brothers. “Before You Kill Us All” was released in 1994 as the premiere single off Travis’ This Is Me album. The song peaked at No.2 on both Billboard’s Hot Country Songs as well as the Canadian country chart.
