Reba McEntire Confesses She’s Had Talks About Bringing Hit TV Show Back

CW/Warner Bros.

In a time of epic TV show revivals, many have been asking for a return of Reba to network television, even a decade after its final episode aired.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet of the ACM Honors outside Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday night (August 23rd), Reba McEntire opened up about bringing her hit TV show back – and even confessed she has spoken with network executives about it!

McEntire’s beloved hit show went off the air in February 2007 after 125 episodes and a total of six seasons. In the time that has passed, they’ve sold endless boxed sets of the series and had a great time with re-runs, but the future remains cloudy about a new network picking up where the show left off.

While the future is unclear, McEntire explained how she felt about bringing it back and even admitted she’s had talks with producers about reviving it.

“There have been some [talks about bringing it back] and hopefully some in the future, too,” McEntire said.

“We’d love to do it,” she added, implying that the original cast was all on-board for a return.

We would all love to see Reba back on TV and many were looking forward to a Southern gothic style soap opera she shot a pilot for, but was later not picked up by ABC.

What do you think about ‘Reba’ coming back to television? Do you think they will revive it?

Watch Reba McEntire talk about bringing the show back as early as 2015 in the video below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
