Redneck-Rigged Zipline Goes Horribly Wrong

Rumble/ViralHog

Everyone at one point in their life has daydreamed about what it would feel like to fly. A group of redneck best friends decided to make their daydreams a reality by rigging a homemade zipline set to soar anyone high in the sky.

When the friends fail to take in a few important calculations into consideration, things go horribly, horribly wrong.

“So what our plan is here is we got this lift here on top of this hill and we got this other lift set up over here,” says the engineer mastermind behind the zipline endeavor. “We’re gonna run a zipline over these powerlines...If you touch these powerlines you die.”

The boys then go over the calculations of their estimated trajectory trying to minimize the risk of the launch. The man holding the calculator confesses that he’s nervous about the level of risk involved, but that doesn’t halt the zipline launch in the least.

The jumper climbs atop the lift and jumps, and soars through the sky before slamming into concrete before getting dragged across the street to the other side of the road. Luckily no serious injuries were left on the daredevil extraordinaire besides a few bumps and bruises plus a serious case of road rash on his behind.

Watch the hilariously unfortunate video below and remember, don’t try this at home kids.
