Reed Robertson Sings ‘Camouflage And Christmas Lights’ On 2013 ‘Duck Dynasty’ Christmas Album

There’s no surprise why Duck Dynasty star Reed Robertson moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a singing career. He is truly talented.
When his family was putting together their 2013 Christmas album, Duck The Halls, his mom, Missy knew Reed had to be included and he had to sing a solo. Most of the songs are collaborations with other family members or country singers, but Reed has one of the only solo tracks.
He sang the 2009 Rodney Carrington song “Camouflage and Christmas Lights” and his poignant rendition will bring you to tears. Singing about men overseas serving our great country who aren’t able to make it home for Christmas, the song depicts what Christmas is like for them.
The lyrics include details about their handmade decorations, a paper star on a plastic tree, turkey dinner on paper plates, and spending time with family the only way they can – by looking at photos of them.
Reed’s delivery is truly heartbreaking and definitely makes us even more thankful for our troops overseas risking everything for us. Listen to Reed sing “Camouflage and Christmas Lights” below.
