Remember That Little Girl Who Showed Up Carrie Underwood On Stage?! Listen To Her NOW!

Let us refresh your memories.

In 2013, 11-year-old Genesis attended Carrie Underwood’s concert and held up a sign that politely read, “May I Sing With You?!”

Underwood asked her to join her on stage to sing a song together. Genesis said she knew “Good Girl” pretty well, so Underwood kicked off the chorus, and Genesis took over quickly after.

And by take over, we mean stole the stage! Underwood handed over her microphone to the little girl and was just enjoying the performance, as was the entire audience!

Clearly, the Internet fell in love with this interaction, seeing as the video has 6.1 million views!

We hadn’t really heard much from Genesis in the years since this mind-blowing moment – until NOW!

Now 14-years-old, she is continuing her dream of becoming a singer. On Thursday (Aug 4), she posted video on her YouTube channel covering her idol, Carrie Underwood.

Instead of “Good Girl”, this time she covers Underwood’s latest single, “Church Bells”. Genesis’ version is a bit slower, which allows her to show off how technical the song really is.

She will blow you away, and hey, who knows, maybe we’ll see her on stage with Underwood soon singing “Church Bells”!
