While Sadie Robertson has been taking a social media hiatus, which thankfully ends this month, she has been keeping busy with her clothing line, speaking engagements and starring in a music video!
The Duck Dynasty darling teamed up with a fellow reality star from Up TV’s Bringing Up Bates, Lawson Bates. Although he is just one of 19 siblings featured on the show, Lawson has made a name for himself in the music community, having released his first solo album, Freedom Sure Ain’t Free, when he was 18 years old.
Now 24, he recently released his follow-up album What Country Means To Me, which features a song titled “Past The Past”. Just a few days ago, he was able to film the music video, and it featured a familiar face as his love interest – Sadie!
“I knew getting Sadie involved would make it even better,” Lawson told Just Jared Jr, according to the Bates Family Blog. “I was thrilled she liked it as well. I’m extremely grateful to her for being a part. She was perfect for the role, and incredible to work with.”
“Past The Past” is a more slow-paced ballad that is about a man who can’t quite get over a past relationship. There is no information as to when the music video will be released, but there are a few behind the scenes photos. Check those out here.
