Country star Sara Evans revealed to the world that her remarkable talent ran in the family, as her and her 14-year-old daughter had her stage debut at 2017’s CMA Music Fest.
Olivia joined her mom on stage during Evans’ album release party to sing an intoxicating rendition of “Tennessee Whiskey,” in the style of Chris Stapleton.
Olivia kicked off their duet with her stellar vocals that shocked the crowd, who instantly gave the young singer cheers and applause. “I used to spend my nights out in a barroom/ Liquor was the only love I’ve known/ But you rescued me from reachin’ for the bottom/ And brought me back from being too far gone,” she vibrantly sang.
Evans joined her daughter on the song’s chorus, harmoniously blending their voices and giving their audience the chills simultaneously. Fans were floored by the family talent, wondering if they would ever sing together again, and the answer is…they will!
They actually started a band with all of Evans’ children called The Barker Family Band. Take a listen to their original song “Dreams” below.
