Season 6 ‘Voice’ Alum Tess Boyer Delivers Cover Of Patsy Cline’s ‘Crazy’

Over four decades have come and gone since the tragic passing of American sweetheart Patsy Cline, and yet, her legacy continues to live on. Drawing fame from her Top Ten run on Season 6 of The Voice, Tess Boyer delivered a spine-tingling rendition of the iconic country ballad, “Crazy,” which she uploaded to her YouTube account in 2014.

Backed by an equally talented pianist, the young singer delivered a bluesy rendition of Cline’s classic. Boyer took a heart-wrenching approach to “Crazy,” with powerful amounts of emotion pouring through each passing verse.

Boyer is an Illinois-native and former cheerleader for the St. Louis Rams. Prior to auditioning for The Voice, the young singer worked with special needs children while attending college as a pre-law student.

“Crazy” is a ballad originally composed by country music legend Willie Nelson. While the song has been covered countless times by a multitude of artists, the most notable belongs to Cline who took the song to number two back in 1962.
