2017 has been a wild year for Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren. In February, the married couple of four years announced to the world that they were not only expecting a child, but also adopting one from Uganda.

They brought home their daughter, Willa Gray Akins, in May and she has already made her stage debut!

Lauren gave birth to their daughter, Ada James Akins, on August 12, which means Willa Gray is officially a big sister! Luckily, someone captured the very moment where Willa and Ada met for the first time, and it is beyond adorable!
Clad in a “Big Sister” t-shirt and a matching tutu, Willa was in awe of the newborn as she touched Ada’s hand and kissed her on the cheek. She also wanted to show off her bug bite, which Lauren assures fans that “meant she wanted to be friends with her right off the bat.”
