Subway Singer’s Raw Talent Sweeps Crowd With Chilling ‘Unchained Melody’

YouTube/America's Got Talent

This 57-year-old subway performer has been singing for the bustling patrons of public transit for almost four decades, but now he gets a shot at performing on national television!

Mike Yung tells the judges of America’s Got Talent about his career spent singing in subway stations and you can see skepticism wash across their faces when he tells them that “it’s a good thing” he’s been doing it so long.

In a moment that could not be described as anything but magical, Yung’s accompanist walks out on stage and together they open their performance of The Righteous Brothers’ unforgettable hit, “Unchained Melody”.

Smoothly moving through each verse, you could hear the years of experience unfold with each new note and as he worked into the more powerful parts of the song, the audience began cheering wildly.

By the time his performance was over, Yung had the audience on their feet and scored a yes from three of the four judges!

Watch this chilling and beautiful performance of one of the greatest hits ever written below!
