Bluegrass Band Gives Epic Twist To Guns ‘N Roses’ ‘Paradise City’

One skilled bluegrass band took to the streets to perform a phenomenally revamped version of the rock hit “Paradise City” by Guns N’ Roses. The Steve ‘N’ Seagulls band stuck out on the streets of SXSW, manning banjos, guitars, and even a mandolin!

Kicking off their authentic cover, the members snagged the attention of those passing by when their uncanny intro showcased bluegrass skills and creative genius! Take me down to the paradise city/ Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty/ Take me home (oh won’t you please take me home),” they sang in unison.

The modified cover gave listeners a softer sound that was perfect for an evening of southern dancing. While their vocals shared a countrified twist, their unique outfits perfectly coincided with their raw sound and regenerated theme. A crowd quickly formed around the musicians, breaking into a thunderous applause following the song’s epic finale.

Give their vibrant cover a listen and be sure to tell us what you thought!
