Michael Martin Murphey Soars In Acoustic New Song “Little Bird”

This living country legend took to the stage during a very special event to sing one of his brand-new songs off his highly-anticipated new album, Austinology: Alleys of Austin.
Michael Martin Murphey has been a true staple of any real country music collection since he rang out across radio waves with his first chart-topping single “Wildfire” in 1975. In the decades that have passed, Murphey has never stopped writing, singing, and handcrafting real, raw country music.

Taking the stage at this one-night-only event, Murphey sang his heart out in a beautiful new song that is part of his new album we’ve all been waiting for.
Presented by Country Road TV, this intimate concert performance was truly a sight to behold and filled up every single seat in this hometown theater.
This legendary hitmaker sang this rendition of Jerry Jeff Walker’s “Little Bird” that tells a story about remembering a young love and the timeless feeling that came with it. Speaking from a point of view as someone who grew older and realizes now the bittersweet truth of life, he looks back after a little bird spurs the memory.
