Randy Travis’ Brother Stuns With Heart-Wrenching Song He Wrote For Him

Brother to one of the most influential vocalists to ever hit the genre of country music paid tribute to Randy Travis through a heart-wrenching song. In a song titled “Let God Work (Song For Randy),” Ricky Traywick honored Travis through powerful lyrics detailing the impressive career of his younger brother and the impact he had on music.
“It’s been a great week honoring Randy!” Traywick wrote of the 2017 Randy Travis tribute concert. “This will be my final nail in my tribute to someone that has changed country music forever.”
The talented musician shared he was supposed to perform the song at the Randy Travis tribute concert but somehow it “got lost in the shuffle.” Not about to let his masterpiece go to waste, Ricky recorded the song and uploaded it to YouTube.
“Thanks to Randy’s band, all the wonderful artists, the crew and folks working behind the scenes to make it all happen,” he continued. “My heartfelt thanks to Randy and Mary! Love you bro!”
The video is a compilation of clips and pictures documenting the life of Travis, from hanging out with Dolly Parton to performing at historic concert halls.
