Proof that big things come in small packages! 14-year-old Emily Bass paid homage to the great Conway Twitty with a surreal cover of his emotional “Goodbye Time.”

The young girl showed off her powerful vocals in a video uploaded to her personal Youtube account. Emily’s sings along to the music track, with her melodic voice flawlessly nailing each difficult lyric seamlessly.

“Goodbye Time” was released by Twitty as the lead single off his 1988 album Still in Your Dreams. The song was met with immediate praise and quickly soared to No.7 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs as well as No.73 on the all genre chart.

The country ballad conveys the heartache of the lovesick narrator singing to a former lover who is in the process of leaving him before ultimately coming to the conclusion that “if the feeling’s gone” words won’t stop her anyways.

You can watch Emily’s rendition of “Goodbye Time” in the video below.
