Talented Duo Deliver Chill-Inducing ‘You Are My Sunshine’ In Style Of The Stapletons

With help of her country crooner husband, Morgane Stapleton transformed “You Are My Sunshine” from a childish lullaby of the past into a chill-inducing bop for the ages. Famous for transforming classics of the past into unrecognizable masterpieces, Chris Stapleton and his wife turn the poppy tune into a simmering work of art just about everyone is dying to cover.

A talented young duo delivered a sultry rendition of “You Are My Sunshine” in style of the Stapletons that will leave you stunned. The musical duo took an acoustic approach to the song, the boy taking lead on guitar while the young girl with immense talent showed off her strong vocals.

The Stapletons resurrected “You Are My Sunshine” as part of compilation album Southern Family. The album is producer Dave Cobb’s brainchild, enlisting country vocal talents such as Miranda Lambert and Zac Brown for his concept album about what it’s like growing up in a “southern family”.
