During a 2015 performance at the Firehouse Saloon in Houston, Texas, longtime country music singer/songwriter Dean Dillon, dazzled the audience with an original performance of the song he crafted alongside Linda Hargrove so many years ago.
Dillon, known for both his incredible songwriting skills and his success on the country charts, found more success early on as the man behind the music rather than the one singing it.

Clearly, he has an immeasurable amount of talent as he co-wrote one of the biggest hits of the 80s, “Tennessee Whiskey” in his early days and continued on writing iconic songs for George Strait that would claim their own seat way up high on the charts.
In this acoustic and pared-down performance, Dillion sits upon a lonely barstool at center stage and truly unleashes his emotions through this impressive original performance.
