Canadian country music star Terri Clark takes you on the most unexpected ride of your life in her 2004 music video for “Girls Lie Too.”
The music video shows a bored housewife’s fantasy come to life when an expected stranger walks into her life. Shortly after the woman’s husband leaves for work, Pirates of the Caribbean’s Jack Sparrow storms the estate in a stretch limo fit for a pirate.
Captain Sparrow sweeps her off her feet and the two engage in a secret love affair, that is until her husband, Wayne Newton, shows up to shatter the fantasy.
Terri shares the secret things girls lie about in her hilariously clever song. “Girls lie, too,” she sings. “We don’t care how much money you make, what you drive or what you weigh. Size don’t matter anyway,” she jokes.
“Girls Lie Too” debuted at No.53 on the U.S. Billboards Hot Country Singles chart before eventually making it up No.1. The hit is the singer’s most recent No.1 single in the U.S.
