Aspiring 9-year-old drummer Avery Molek absolutely kills it on the drums to Blake Shelton’s remake of Kenny Loggins’ hit song “Footloose.”

The video features Avery playing the drums while “Footloose” plays in the background. At just 9 years old Avery demonstrates expert skill that would take most a lifetime to achieve. Needless to say this kid is going places.

The young drummer got a small taste of fame when a video of him covering Van Halen’s “Hot for Teacher” went viral when he was only six years old. The video landed him a guest appearance on “Good Morning America” where he performed alongside Brad Paisley. He has also played on-stage with Brad at his concert in Pittsburgh back in 2013.

You can watch his cover of “Footloose” in the video below and be sure to keep an eye out for his name in the future!
