There’s a reason why the famous voice actor Mel Blanc dubbed Rich Little as “The Man of a Thousand Voices.” One of the most well-known impressionists in the world, Little can flawlessly mimic almost any voice imaginable.

One of the most recognizable voices in all of country music is Johnny Cash‘s. His deep, bellowing tone is unlike anyone else’s, which is why so many try to imitate it.

While most people can pull off a mediocre impression of Cash, they are all put to shame by Little. He has spent decades perfecting his impression, and let us tell you, the resemblance to Cash’s voice is uncanny.

Little already knew how to do a spot-on impression of Cash during a performance in 1972. A clip from that performance resurfaced in recent years, cluing in thousands of people to Little’s extraordinary talent.

The performance opened by Little saying Cash’s signature line, “Hello, I’m Johnny Cash.” Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, Little further showcased his talent by actually singing in Cash’s voice.

Little seamlessly moved into singing Cash’s song “Orange Blossom Special.” If you were to close your eyes and simply listen to the clip, you’d swear that Cash was the person singing. Little’s impression is just that good!

Go ahead and tune in to the video below to catch Little’s jaw-dropping impression of “The Man in Black.” Prepare to be amazed!
