It turns out that Chesney’s hit song “How Forever Feels” was originally cut by McGraw, although the Louisiana native essentially recanted his decision to release the hit after it was a soaring success for fellow country star Chesney. According to a Billboard interview, McGraw told the singer, “I’m glad you cut it. It just didn’t work for me.”
However, McGraw’s version was still an obtainable recording, as one social media user uploaded the overlooked clip and gave fans the little bit of heaven they’d been searching for! The “Humble and Kind” singer’s voice is pure gold as he belts out the unforgettable lyrics, giving the country beach hit the classic McGraw makeover!
