Longtime friends and collaborators Toby Keith and Willie Nelson are back at it once again for what may just be their most redneck partnership yet. Known for his ability to pen feel good songs with a dash of southern humor, Keith is set to release his next single “Wacky Tobaccy” tomorrow (June 23).

“That old Wacky Tobaccy/ When you feel it creeping up on you,” sings Keith. “That old Wacky Tobaccy/ Kick back and let it do what it do.”

In addition to the news of his latest feel good single, Keith announced he teamed up with the country music legend for what is sure to be a standout music video of 2017. Co-written with critically acclaimed songwriter Scotty Emerick, “Wacky Tobaccy” will hit all major streaming outlets tomorrow with the video featuring Nelson to follow in the near feature.

“Wacky Tobaccy is a slogan, a saying that’s been around forever and no one has ever put it in a song,” says Keith according to The Music Universe. “When we were working on it, somebody asked if the saying has ever been written in a song and I said, ‘no, but they will now.’ We recorded it and shot the video in Nashville. We got a cameo from Willie Nelson. We have a long-standing friendship. It’s fortunate that we got him. ‘Wacky Tobaccy’ is written to the screws, and it fits in with what we do every night with the party crowd.”

While not much information of the forthcoming video is known, if it’s anything like their past collaboration “Beer for My Horses,” it’s sure to be one hell of song.
