Country music icon Travis Tritt isn’t one to shy away from sports, proudly showcasing his undying support for the Atlanta Falcons, as the ‘Dirty Birds” have clearly snagged a permanent place in this musician’s heart.

The Georgia native has continued to represent his team, often taking to social media to congratulate the players on a win, or perhaps share words of encouragement after a heartbreaking loss. However, as the Dirty Birds are headed to Houston, Texas for the 51st Super Bowl against New England Patriots, Tritt is nothing short of elated

He proudly explained in a press release, “Growing up in Marietta, GA, I have been a lifelong Falcons fan. Obviously, I am thrilled that my home team is going to the Super Bowl this year. I have a severe case of ‘Falcons Fever’ and I will be cheering them on in Houston on February 5.”

Dropping the subtle words “Falcon Fever”, Tritt referenced his 2004 release in which he produced an incredibly energetic anthem for the Falcons, complete with references to various players and a powerful “rise” of support!

“Falcons fever, true believers, spread that Falcons feeling far and wide. Wild, outrageous, so contagious, Atlanta Falcons fans won’t be denied,” the song boldly claims. Tritt’s vocals are a pure southern pep talk and he profoundly sings, “Falcons football fever’s on the rise!”

The Atlanta Falcons have been the unavoidable buzz of the sports world, as their 2016 season not only broke a variety of the team’s personal records, but also shattered former NFL achievements.
