Marching forward on one of the biggest tours in music history, Garth Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood gave their dedicated fans something to remember in honor of a legend lost.

Taking the stage in Columbus, Ohio, these two country stars turned all the lights purple and began to make it rain inside the venue.

Next, Garth has a stunning and elegant purple coat brought on stage for his talented wife and announces that they are performing a tribute to the then-recently-lost musical mastermind – Prince.

Trisha steps forward and gives an unforgettable performance of his signature song, “Purple Rain” alongside three unbelievably talented backup vocalists while Garth stands back and plays guitar for her.

Towards the end of the number, the four vocalists are improvising and running off with some amazing riffs while Prince’s iconic symbol is slowly lowered over their heads, shining a bright purple as rain continues to fall.
