One little boy shocked Walmart customers when a normal shopping experience entirely transformed into an impromptu, live performance! 10-year-old Mason Ramsey sported a camouflage coat and stellar cowboy hat while sitting in a shopping cart and after being asked to sing some country classics, he happily obliged.
It became incredibly clear that little Mason was anything but camera shy, looking directly into the camera and knocking out his first performance of the Hank Williams hit “Hey Good Lookin’.”
Nearby shoppers stood in awe as the young boy displayed his incredible talent and profound confidence amidst a store filled with strangers. Fellow shoppers were blown away with his voice, one waiting for the perfect moment to request the song “Lovesick Blues.” Mason absolutely blew away bystanders and viewers with his remarkable voice control and brilliant ability to convey a direct emotion throughout his tunes.
While these songs served as a great use for this little cowboy to captivate his fans, these hits were also a major success for Williams, as well. Becoming an overnight sensation, “Lovesick Blues” soared to the number one spot on the Billboard charts despite not originating as a country song. The song was initially featured in the 1922 musical Oh, Ernest, although later recorded by multiple other artists before Williams.
“Hey Good Lookin’,” however, was penned and recorded by Williams exclusively. Although the song was widely appreciated and rerecorded by a variety of other artists, it was Williams’ rendition that, in 2001, was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame.
We are blown away by this little boy’s incredible taste in music and sensational vocal talent! You’ve never seen a cover this adorable and chockfull of pure talent! Check out his performance below!
