Following her tragic death, each of her closest co-stars opened up for a very special tribute in honor of the talented singer.

Just a few short weeks ago, Christina Grimmie was tragically gunned down during a meet-and-greet after she performed in Orlando, Florida. The gunman, reportedly a deranged fan, shot her as she was preparing to thank him for coming.

But before the beautiful 22-year-old’s life was cut short, she opened her heart to many of her co-stars on the sixth season of NBC’s The Voice. Those who knew her best recalled some of their favorite memories with Grimmie.

Kat Perkins recalls a time when she and Grimmie bleached part of their hair to play along with their coach, Adam Levine during the final rounds.

Another friend and co-star, Jake Barker, says that he probably never told her that she truly brought the kid out in him and he sweetly remembered a time when they were touring together and bought video games and skateboards – just to have fun. He lovingly likened her to his “little sister”.

In the weeks since her passing, the music community has come together to pay tribute to a girl who had her whole life ahead of her, and shared her endless love, humor, and kindness with all of those she came across.

Watch this beautiful tribute in the video below.
