Then 13-year-old Brennley Brown sat down on a patio with just her guitar, her voice, and a microphone to bring her audience to tears with a cover of Miranda Lambert’s unforgettable “The House That Built Me”. 

A fire pit burning in the background and sitting squarely in the glow casted by a single lamppost, Brown has set the mood for this emotionally-charged and heart-breaking performance. 

This song is such a powerful tune that even Miranda Lambert herself has broken down several times in front of audiences while singing it because of how deeply she connects to it.
