One of country music’s favorite hard-rocking bands takes the stage for a performance like you’d never seen before.

Appearing on an episode of MSNBC’s popular television show, Imus in the Morning in early 2007, Montgomery Gentry took to the stage with a powerhouse performance of their chart-topping single, “If You Ever Stop Loving Me” and blew viewers away!

The track, which was released as the lead single from their 2004 album You Do your Thing, quickly became one of the hottest tracks in country music, taking home the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s U.S. Hot Country Songs and peaking in the Top 40 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Billboard even gave the hit country jam top marks, calling it a “solid performance that is full of personality” and applauding the production as “an edgy, groove-laden framework, punctuating the duo’s gutsy performance.”

Check out Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry’s sweeping 2007 performance of “If You Ever Stop Loving Me” in the video below!
