Just a few days after the 36th anniversary of its release, Kenny Rogers‘ super-hit love song makes a new appearance during a surprise performance on a late night talk show. 

After discussing how many of the characters he’s played in his biggest movies seem to go on in life without ‘getting the girl’, Hollywood star James Marsden breaks out in a romantic song with some great mood lighting! 

Not just a pretty face, Marsden actually is a very talented singer and did a fantastic job with Jimmy Fallon on the backup vocals in this hilarious parody on his character’s broken hearts! 

Kenny Rogers’ “Lady” was both written and produced by the legendary Lionel Richie and quickly became one of Rogers’ biggest hits!
