When This Mask Collector Starts Playing Bass To ‘I Know A Little,’ You Just Have To Boogie
on Oct 13, 2016
Before he joined Lynyrd Skynyrd, guitarist Steve Gaines penned a boogie-worthy tune that eventually found its place in the tracklist of Skynyrd’s album, Street Survivors. “I Know a Little” proved that Steve’s talent was one-of-a-kind, and years later people are still jamming out to his groovy creation.
One guy named TJ is a huge Rush fan, and openly admits that he isn’t that in to Southern rock. But he just couldn’t ignore the fact that “I Know a Little” has a killer bass line.
As one of the most subscribed to bass players on YouTube, TJ frequently posts video covers of some of the most iconic bass parts of all time. He did just that with “I Know a Little,” and ended up generating thousands of views.
In addition to being a bass player, TJ collects unique and insanely detailed masks. These masks appear in the background of his videos, including the one for “I Know a Little.”
But TJ’s talent as a bass player is even more intriguing than the masks he collects. People in the comments praised him for his incredible tone, and many mentioned how well he worked the neck of the guitar.
We agree with all of those comments, and now it’s time for you to decide if you feel the same! Tune in to TJ’s bass cover of “I Know a Little” below.
If you love what you hear, TJ has hundreds of other bass covers that you can check out. Just head on over here to his YouTube channel and enjoy!
