Known for his incredibly unique voice and stunning musical talent, the former lead singer of rock band Staind delivers a truly impressive cover of one of Blake Shelton‘s biggest hits.

Aaron Lewis has been performing live shows since he was just 17 years old and his experience on stage truly shows in this amazing cover of Shelton’s 2010 hit, “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking”

While he was originally known in the music industry for Staind’s rock hits, he later began working on a solo country music album. The same year that Shelton’s hit came out, Lewis made his official country debut with the July release of his EP Town Line, which featured several tracks – including “Country Boy” which featured George Jones, Charlie Daniels, and Chris Young.

“Who Are You When I’m Not Looking” was originally released in 2007 as the the third track on Joe Nichols’ fifth studio album, but never hit the charts as a single. The song is a heartfelt ballad that echoes a sentiment almost any person has felt if they’ve been in love – wanting to know what characteristics a lover is hiding.

With Lewis’ profound talent as a vocalist and powerfully unique voice, this beloved song takes new flight!
