Willie And Korie Robertson Tell The Adorable Story Of How They First Met

Willie and Korie Robertson celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on January 11, 2017, but they have actually known each other since they were little kids.

Growing up in the same town, the two attended different high schools and had a sort of Romeo and Juliet type of relationship, having come from two very different sides of town. 

When they stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the late-night host asked how they first met, and it was an adorable story. 

“Summer camp, third grade,” Korie said right away. “He asked me on the moonlight hike, and he was the cutest thing. I actually wrote it in my diary!”

Fallon couldn’t believe how young they were when they met and loved the fact the Korie took the time to jot down their first meeting in her diary. He then asked Willie how he impressed Korie when they were dating.

He revealed he’d pretend to inflate his muscles and “would take my fist and bust out the ceiling tiles in my room to show her how strong I was.”

Well, it worked! And now, 25 years later, they are happier than ever with six children together.
