Find Out Why Willie Robertson Puts His Entire Family, Including Himself, On A Time-Out

In this day and age, technology makes everything easier and we, as a society, have become so used to having information instantly at our fingertips. So much so, that Willie Robertson began feeling disconnected from his family and felt that technology was taking over their lives. One night after dinner, he had enough! 

“What’s everybody doing? Is anyone listening to me?” he asked to a non-responsive family. Every member of his family was mesmerized by their phone screen, including his youngest kids, Bella and Rowdy, who were on their phone while riding hover boards! 

“We are going to have a little tech time-out. We’re gonna all turn our phones in,” he said. “We will not be distracted by them. I’m taking all technology, cell phones, games.”

The next day, Willie gathered his family of 8 and explained what their day was going too look like. He told his kids that without the help of technology, or GPS systems, they will have to get them to their destination by using a road map. The look on their faces were priceless!

Bella, Sadie, and Mary Kate drove with Korie, while Little Will, Rowdy and John Luke rode with Willie. Sadie was leading the girls car in the right direction, much to Korie’s surprise, but the guys were having a little bit of trouble.

“I think these maps are old. I don’t think the roads are the same,” John Luke told his dad. Assuring him the maps are correct, Willie was persistent about making his sons learn to read maps and not be reliant on technology.

Little Will was skeptical from the beginning and after searching for a while, he declared, “This map doesn’t even have our city in it!“
