WWE Superstar John Cena Delivers Surprising Cover Of ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’

Could WWE superstar John Cena be contemplating making the star-studded move to Nashville? The professional wrestler sang John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” after WWE House Show in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Cena is best known for the his work within the confines of a wrestling ring and on the big screen, but it seems the 15-time wrestling world champion has a talent for country music stylings as well.

The wrestler led the crowd in the performance of Denver’s classic with the help of fellow professional wrestler Dean Ambrose, with Cena taking control of the microphone while Ambrose sang atop the ropewalk.
The West Virginia crowd went wild when Cena sang the iconic lyrics of “West Virginia, mountain mama. Take me home, country roads.” They erupted again into a fit of applause after the conclusion of Cena’s rendition of the classic before the two wrestlers exited the ring.
